Now, the 155-year-old company is taking that association a step further with the debut of Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup — the packaged food maker’s first-ever limited-time soup flavor. The product will be available on grocery store shelve through National Grilled Cheese Day on April 12.

Campbell's is releasing the perfect soup flavor for grilled cheese lovers.

The New Jersey-based canned soup company announced Thursday that it is debuting its new Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup product.

The soup is "infused with the flavors of a grilled cheese sandwich for the ultimate spoonful of flavor and comfort," according to a press release released by Campbell's.

When it comes to comfort foods, there is something about a Grilled Cheese sandwich and a bowl of Tomato Soup that is impossible to resist. And  Campbell's Soup knows that. In fact, they are usually our go-to brand  when it comes to indulging in that Tomato Soup moment.

But what if you could get the flavors of those two comfort foods in one  single bite (or in this case, sip)? In its latest limited-edition launch, the brand has created a soup that's one part tomato soup, one part grilled cheese, and equal parts iconic.

Campbell's Limited-Edition Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup was announced by a pair of food-focused Instagram accounts that both shared photos of the retro-looking red and yellow can. "Campbell's knows how much y'all love grilled cheese with tomato soup and is just cutting  straight to the point with a new Grilled Cheese & Tomato soup," the @Snackolator account wrote. "[The soup] features the tomato soup you all know from Campbell's and blends in that cheesy goodness of a grilled cheese."
